Above and Beyond Learning Group aims to use best practices in ABA Therapy and Speech Therapy to help individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities learn to communicate, play, socialize, work, and gain independence. We do this by providing high quality therapy in homes, schools, and communities; by providing school districts with dedicated, professional consultation; and by upholding our 360′ Care Standards.
Achieve Beyond Pediatric Autism Services (Espanol)
Achieve Beyond aims to meet the needs of developmentally delayed and disabled children and their families, particularly children with bilingual needs. Such services include; autism services, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental/special education services, autism red flags, and developmental guidelines
Bergen PAC Special Stars Program
Our Performing Arts School provides arts education to children and teens with special needs. Special Stars provides participants with the opportunity to explore their artistic interests in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Developed in collaboration with the Center for Life and Learning (Teaneck, NJ), we offer a full schedule of music, theater, and dance classes and workshops.
Capable Kids Pediatric Therapy Center
Capable Kids Pediatric Therapy Center provides compassionate pediatric therapy services to improve the lives of children with special needs. Their services include independent evaluations, physical therapy, occupational therapy, neurodevelopmental treatment, visual motor therapy, craniosacral therapy, listening program, Anat Baniel Method, sensory integration, myofascial release, infant message, interactive metronome, kinesiotaping.
ChipDee Academy of Music
Chip has set up music programs for special education departments in the Teaneck and Ridgefield, NJ School Districts, catering to all classified children from Pre K through to High School. These programs also include annual variety shows put on and performed by all grade levels of the special needs population. Chip has directed Special Education Summer recreation programs and has also served as music director for ECLC School.
Creative Solutions Therapy (Music Therapy)
Valerie Michalowski-Pheanis, LCSW, MT-BC, CHN - As a Music Therapist, I believe that music can be an enjoyable, positive, at times nonverbal, approach to psychotherapy, offering a creative outlet in the exploration of emotional, behavioral, social, and cognitive issues.
Disability Allies
Disability Allies' social events aim to accommodate young adults and teenagers as we pair individuals with disabilities with mentors. Through team building and social activities, members build relationships and capitalize on the confidence that has been developed. We provide services in a group environment as well as on a one to one baisis.

Creative Solutions Therapy
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified Music Therapist, and Certified Holistic Nutritionist. I graduated from The State University of New York at New Paltz in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy and Piano Performance, with a minor in Psychology. From there, I moved to South Carolina to complete my certification internship on the child -- geriatric psychiatric units at Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia. I received my Masters degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2008. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Work in 2011.
